About The Lakes
The Lakes, Las Vegas is a perfect two-square-mile community on the west side of Las Vegas. The centrepiece of the community and its namesake is a Lake Sahara. It's funny because it was originally planned to be two lakes but was downsized to one. So the name should really be The Lake but The Lakes stuck as a name for this community.
The Lakes has been named to Forbes List of America's Prettiest Neighborhoods several times. It's really a pretty neighbourhood with perfect access to Peccole Ranch and Summerlin. The community features both apartments and both smaller and larger homes.
